PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Hello all,

The 4th edition of International Aerospace Week - Montréal 2018 will be held from April 16 to 20. This international event is a must for all members of our industry.
Over five days, we will be bringing together close to 2,000 people from around the world at the Palais des congrès in Montréal for major events organized around themes that address all the challenges facing companies in the aerospace sector.
This week is an extraordinary opportunity to network with representatives from a wide range of companies who are all interested in developing business within the Québec aerospace ecosystem.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK:

APRIL 16 – 17: Aerospace Innovation Forum (6th edition)
Benchmark event in North America for the global aerospace ecosystem!
The Forum is:
• 1,500 participants
• 80 exhibitors
• 100 international speakers
• 1,400 B2B meetings

Theme of the 2018 edition: “Aerospace in the era of disruptive technologies.”
This event SELLS OUT year after year. Guarantee yourself a place and maximize your visibility through our partnership plan (details available on the event’s web page)

APRIL 18 – 19: CRIAQ Rendez-vous Forum
Meeting of the entire aerospace community involved in the open innovation process with the goal of fostering collaborative research and development projects.

APRIL 19 – 20: Aéro Cyber Forum
Series of Masterclasses on cybersecurity in commercial aviation. This event will take place at the International Civil Aviation Organization. (Registration to come)

APRIL 20: AéroPortal: Vitrines 2018
Organized for a second edition, the Vitrines 2018 event is an essential meeting place for the next generation and the public. It is organized around a job fair featuring about 20 companies. The grand finale of the 3rd edition of a case study competition will also take place during the morning. This major competition brings together all Québec universities around a practical case study aimed at developing and presenting an innovative, commercially viable solution for the aerospace industry. (Registration to come)

CERCLE DE PARTAGE DES MEILLEURES PRATIQUES D’AFFAIRES – REGISTRATION IS OPEN
Building on the success of the 1st edition, Aéro Montréal’s Growth Working Group is launching a new edition of the Cercle de partage des meilleures practiques d’affaires (Meetings for sharing best business practices in aerospace) to enable leaders of SMEs in Québec’s aerospace sector to share their experiences on current topics and concerns.
Aéro Montréal is offering you a program of eight meetings spread over the course of 2018. These will deal with the key themes selected by the Growth Working Group.
