An all-new program designed exclusively for manufactured SMEs!

Aéro Montréal’s Market Development – SME Working Group is launching a new program of meetings for sharing best business practices in aerospace. This will enable leaders of SMEs in Québec’s aerospace sector to share their experiences on current topics and concerns.

The Québec aerospace industry is undergoing changes that are having a direct impact on the supply chain and which are also posing major challenges for which SME managers need to quickly find solutions.

To address these specific challenges, Aéro Montréal is launching a program of eight (8) meetings, spread throughout 2017, which will address key themes selected by the Market Development - SME Working Group. Among others, these include:

  • Culture of innovation
  • Governance and mentoring
  • External investment and consolidation
  • Industry 4.0 
  • Management of the supply chain 
  • Operations management

DEADLINE: THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2016

The meetings will be held alternately on the premises of each of the SMEs participating in the program, which will also allow for a site visit. They will be led and moderated by the STIQ.

In addition, the last meeting will consist of visiting a company from a sector of activity other than aerospace to learn lessons that will enrich the discussions of participants.

A best practice will be identified for each company. A White Paper of the best business practices from the participating companies will be produced at the end of the program and shared with the entire Québec industry.

  • Cost: 

- Member: $595 + applicable taxes
- Non-member: $675 + applicable taxes

  • Length of program: from January to December 2017 
  • Frequency of meetings: One (1) meeting approximately every month 
  • Targeted participants: leaders or vice presidents of SMEs in Québec’s aerospace sector

 

A confidentiality agreement will be signed by the participants and the feedback from the meetings will be compiled in a generic way for public release.
The number of places is limited.
Each participant must agree to go once a month to a participating company as well as agree to play host to other participating companies one (1) time during the program.
