St-Hubert, Québec, July 5^th, 2017 - NETUR, a supplier of aerospace parts, has obtained ISO 14001: 2015 certifications, following a final audit on June 27, 2017, demonstrating its environmental commitment.

This certification is part of the strategic approach of sustainable development of the company, which thus joins the closed circle of ten aerospace Quebec companies operating in the field of machining and already certified ISO 14001: 2015.

“We were pleased to see a real dynamism from every level inside the company such as senior managers, programmers, operators and all other support functions of the company. We felt a real desire to identify good environmental management practices and to make the company evolve in this direction to become an example to follow for the industry” said Marouane Bendahmane, coordinator quality and continuous improvement

The implementation of the ISO 14001: 2015 standard is used to set up an environmental management system aimed at reducing the impact of the company's activities on the environment. In the case of Netur, the main annual targets will be to reduce the amount of scrap by 5%, reduce its energy consumption by 1.5% and increase the participation of all employees in improving the processes in place.
