Montreal - When asked to rank different marketing activities based on time and resources spent on each, respondents put email marketing at the top, with 49% saying they spend more time and resources on email than on other channels. 59% of marketers perceive email to be the most effective channel in generating revenue.
Email remains the preferred method of communication among social media users who choose to interact with companies and brands online. In fact, 56% of US Internet users interact with brands via marketing emails only, compared to 1.3% who interact only on Twitter and 0.7% who interact on Facebook alone. |
