Hello all,

There are only a few weeks left until the holiday break and we still have a lot of interesting events and news to share with you!

First, I’d like to remind you that we are expecting a big turnout for our major Financing Seminar and Holiday Networking Dinner which will take place on Monday, December 12th, REGISTRATIONS STRAT AT 1pm*. We will have the honour of welcoming M. François Blais, Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity and Minister responsible for the Capitale-Nationale region. Mr. Pierre Gabriel Côté, President-Chief Executive Officer of Investissement Québec will be guest speaker and Mr. Michael Denham, President and Chief Executive Officer of the BDC, will give a speech during the dinner. Our members can benefit from a special rate. Register today!
*New schedule

Also, please note that we have just opened registrations for the recruitment of the 5th MACH cohort. The fifth cohort will consist of 20 suppliers chosen following the call for applications currently underway and ending on January 20, 2017. To help you better understand what’s involved as part of the MACH Initiative and to guide you in seeking a sponsor, Aéro Montréal invites representatives of manufacturing companies in Québec’s aerospace sector who wish to join the cohort, or act as a sponsor, to one of the following two information sessions: Thursday, December 8 or Wednesday, December 14. All registration details can be found here.

Other information of interest: we are publishing a new edition of our Defence Directory. This is a one-of-a-kind directory that highlights your products and services related to aerospace programs in the military and national security sectors. We therefore encourage companies in the defence sector to update their profile. For the procedure, click here. Also, you can purchase advertising space in this reference tool to maximize your company’s visibility (contact Sylvain Lefrançois – 514 987-9394).

AN HISTORIC MOMENT – On Monday, Bombardier celebrated the delivery of its first CS300 aircraft to airBaltic, the national airline of Latvia. We attended this major event, which will eventually generate benefits for Québec’s aerospace supply chain! See the press release.

Don’t miss the Innovation Portfolio published in LaPresse+ last Thursday. It underscores major innovation initiatives in our sector of activities.

Don’t hesitate to send us your news and press releases so that we can share them with others! You can contact Gwenaël Brisé for this purpose.
