THE AÉRO MONTRÉAL GOLF CLASSIC IS FULL! 400 GUESTS EXPECTED AT THE NETWORKING COCKTAIL – A few spots still available! 300 golfers and industry players responded to our invitation and will be teeing off on Tuesday, August 29 for this tournament at the Elm Ridge Country Club. We can already say it’s a success! The event offers many networking opportunities, including the cocktail and dinner that starts at 5:00 p.m. You can still register for the dinner portion and join the main stakeholders of our industry. This day is recognized as being the summer’s most exciting networking event. Each year, participants tell us how useful it has been for their business development. Do not miss this opportunity to talk about your company! Several sponsorship packages are still available, such as signage on a tee off or a booth.
OUTSTANDING PRIZES Every year, we offer you extraordinary prizes, thanks to the generosity of our partners. The Grand Prize this year will be a trip for two in business class, to any European destination served by Air Canada. A prize worth $10,000. In addition, AON will put in play an Alfa Romeo for the winner of a hole in one. Leaders International will also hold a draw for a drone worth $500. Many other prizes will be awarded and distributed during the cocktail dinner.
2017 SYMPOSIUM ON THE CANADIAN DEFENCE AND SECURITY MARKET – OCTOBER 23rd: REGISTER NOW! It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the third edition of Quebec’s Symposium on the Canadian Defence and Security market. This year’s event will take place on Monday, October 23rd at Hotel Mortagne in Bourcherville with a focus on Quebec’s industrial capabilities. This one-day event will raise awareness on key current issues such as cyber security, in-service support trends and positioning your company in the Defence sector through a workshop format. It’s also a great opportunity to meet with the key actors in the Defence and Security sector.

Defence and National Security As part of the upcoming launch of the Croissance Sécurité Défense Québec portal that will be online soon, Aéro Montréal, STIQ and Québec International invite you to read the July issue of the monthly Active Opportunity Monitoring newsletter. This newsletter provides SMEs with information about various opportunities offered by the national defence procurement programs and federal industrial and technological benefits (ITB) programs and policies.
Human Resources Aéro Montréal student subcommittee takes shape The second meeting of the Aéro Montréal student subcommittee took place on Friday, July 28. The purpose of this subcommittee, which reports to the Human Resources Working Group, is to bring together students from all over Québec (university level to college level) across all disciplines related in some way to aviation. Lastly, Aéro Montréal and Montréal International organize a talent recruitment mission in Toulouse. Attend the information meeting for this event on August 22.
