SUPPLY CHAIN WORKING GROUP CALL FOR PARTICIPATION –MACH FAB 4.0 POOLED PROJECTS INITIATIVE In collaboration with the CEFRIO, today we are launching two pooled projects as part of the MACH FAB 4.0 Initiative. Note that a third project, “Community of interest in cobotics,” will be launched soon. These projects are reserved for industrial SMEs that work in the aerospace sector and carry out manufacturing activities in Québec. The two projects, which aim to produce a customized deliverable to the company for the selection of a solution, are as follows: - Project 1 – “Work instruction” solution to digitize work instructions, facilitate consultation and/or modification. - Project 2 – “MES” solution to support, measure, visualize and communicate the state of execution of orders on the shop floor

GROWTH WORKING GROUP IMPACT OF STEEL AND ALUMINUM TARIFFS Aéro Montréal, in collaboration with Export Development Canada, will hold a roundtable in October to answer industry questions about the impact of the US imposed surcharges on aluminum and steel. Registration and details about this event are to follow. However, we are asking you today to tell us about the challenges you are facing so that we can address them during this activity. DEFENCE AND SECURITY WORKING GROUP SYMPOSIUM ON THE CANADIAN DEFENCE AND SECURITY MARKET – Monday, October 22, 2018, Boucherville Registration is now open for the Symposium whose theme this year will focus on exports. This event will help you understand how the various trade agreements can help you export, as well as the capabilities and certifications required for this purpose. You can also take advantage of this event to get in touch with a network of trade commissioners and economic attachés. The preliminary program for the event is also available.

GOVERNMENT OF QUÉBEC CALL FOR PROJECTS FOR THE ACQUISITION, IMPLEMENTATION AND MARKETING OF TECHNOLOGIES THAT REDUCE GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS This call for projects targets small- and medium-sized enterprises. Submitted projects can be applied in all areas of activity where clean technologies reduce GHG emissions, with the exception of the transport electrification sector.
