SUCCESSION EVENT – SNOWBIRDS SHOW – DEFENCE AND SECURITY EVENT Nearly 5,000 people attend events at the Old Port Last Thursday, we held a first-of-its-kind event at the Old Port of Montréal featuring the Canadian Forces Snowbirds. We attracted nearly 5,000 people during the day by offering an introductory journey in aerospace to the general public. Several educational institutions were also present to encourage young people to enroll in their respective programs. The public day ended with an air show by the Canadian Forces Snowbirds. Once again, I would like to thank the entire Snowbirds team for coordinating this extraordinary aerial ballet with Aéro Montréal and helping to make this event a great success! This day was also an opportunity to host a VIP event focused on defence and security as part of the 60th anniversary celebrations of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). The event was made possible by L3 Technologies and our panel discussion partner, CAE. Launch of the last aspect of the MONTRÉAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY Last Thursday, the City of Montréal unveiled its economic development strategy to improve the accessibility of employment centres. This is excellent news for many of our companies located in industrial parks located in the western sector which are not always well served in terms of public or frequent transportation. See our press release about this subject. I’d like to take this opportunity at the beginning of the summer season to wish you all happy holidays. We look forward to seeing you in large numbers at the cycle-golf classic on Monday, August 27!
